Shyam Prabhakar

Shyam is an alumnus of the University of Maryland where he got his MS and completed MBA at Virginia Tech. His academic background at UMD helped lay the foundation for his analytical and technology-driven approach to solving complex business data problems.
After leading a successful career in start-ups in the DC area 2 of which had successful exits, in 2022, Shyam co-founded ReWorked.ai. The company was founded to address massive inefficiencies in traditional B2C and B2B lead generation—specifically targeting the home improvement, roofing, real estate, and property services industries. Rather than relying on outdated "spray-and-pray" marketing, Shyam and his team built predictive AI modeling engines designed to identify which property owners are actively inclined to convert.
